Johnny Herbert believes Max Verstappen's talk of quitting Formula 1 is mostly tactical. "There was a lot of stirring from Max's side," Herbert said. "He's playing a game, and I completely get it. He's playing with the teams, with Formula 1 and the FIA by saying he's leaving because the cars are not what he wants them to be." Herbert argued that as the cars move back toward proper racing machines, Verstappen's frustration eases: "He'll think, I'm not going anywhere. You never walk away from this sport."
